Noodling Around With Mississippi John Hurt

Well, I've already discussed my "performance anxiety" issues, so I won't go into that again. So here is my edited "medley" of Mississippi John Hurt songs. They're not the only John Hurt songs I know, but I figured I wouldn't torture you that much.

In here are snippets of Payday (in Vestapol D), Louis Collins, Monday Morning Blues, Avalon, Make Me A Pallet, CC Rider -- I think that about covers it.

A comment about the guitars: the first song, Payday, is played in open D (Vestapol - DADF#AD) on a Loar LH200; the rest on a Martin 00015S solid sapele (slotted head w/ 12 clear frets) standard tuning. No picks on John Hurt. Bare thumb and two fingers.
